Why are mountains tops snowy:The higher you climb up a mountain, the colder it gets.At the very top of a high mountain, its freezing cold and the Ice and snow never melt.Lower down, its warmer, and trees and plants can grow.Animals that live high up on mountains have thick, woolly coats to keep them warm. Mountaineers must wear special clothes.

Very interesting topic Pavan. Do you know that glaciers are very sensitive to global warming? When the earth's temperature rises just a tiny bit, the glaciers which have grown over millions of years will disappear.
